Robert Juliat successfully launches Bizet 8-Colour LED Profile at PLASA London 2026

ROBERT JULIAT was excited to launch its brand-new Bizet 8-Colour LED profile fixture at PLASA Show 2026 on the stand of its exclusive distributor for the UK and Ireland, Live Technology.

Bizet 8-Colour Profile

Bizet 8-Colour’s innovative light engine offers a unique combination of 8 LED colours (deep red, red, amber, green, cyan, sky blue, royal blue) and, for the first time in a theatre fixture, yellow (patent pending). With an output equivalent to traditional 2kW tungsten fixtures, Bizet 8-Colour has a high CRI of >98 and additive colour mixing for a very wide gamut and detailed balance within the spectrum.

Robert Juliat’s dedicated control solution, RJ Color, is fully integrated into Bizet 8-Colour to manage all data in real-time, achieving any desired shade, regardless of which console is used.

Bizet 8-Colour Profile brings a colour solution to the Bizet range which already offers Variable White and Cool White versions. Bizet 8-Colour is also available as a lamp house retrofit to convert 2kW RJ 700SX profile spotlights.

FollowSight

RJ’s latest LED followspot, Tristan, the 825W LED 7°-14.5° followspot, was presented complete with remote control options and RJ’s new FollowSight App which was presented for the first time.

Available from the App Store and compatible with all iPhones, FollowSight is a digital sight for followspots.

The App enables operators to track performers on stage by using the iPhone camera without the need for other optical devices.

Features include:

· Zoom – using the mobile phone’s zoom function
· Target – select, import or resize a target
· Alignment – position the target for perfect alignment with beam centre
· Intensity – adjust screen brightness
· Presets – store parameters in different presets for quick and easy access
· Photo and Video – keep records of show/event

FollowSight can be used with any followspot.

Sig-Net® supporter - Winner of PLASA 2026 Award for Innovation

Robert Juliat was proud to be present on the CyberSecurity Pavilion as a key supporter of the Sig-Net® initiative, the communication protocol created by Singularity (UK) Managing Director, Wayne Howell, the creator of ArtNet.

Sig-Net ensures any fixtures in a system are cryptographically loyal to the console, using a QR code to lock the fixture and console together until such a time as they are disconnected, at the end of a tour for example.  SNOW™ (Sig-Net Over Wire) is a sister document to Sig-Net. It allows the cryptographic keys to be distributed to the fixture over the network. Both are free to use, and simple enough to be retrofitted to or upgrade existing products by firmware.
Robert Juliat was one of the first manufacturers to support the development of Sig-Net which has been developed to provide the tools needed for manufacturers to achieve compliance with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). This comes into force from 11 December 2027, after which date a product that is not CRA compliant cannot be sold into the EU.

“Robert Juliat has worked alongside Wayne Howell on many protocol projects, including the inaugural CyberFest 2026 that took place in September,” says RJ’s Thierry Dupont. “During this time manufacturers worked together to create a fully integrated working system for the PLASA show that demonstrated the interoperability between the products of early adopters. Robert Juliat is proud to be at the forefront of this important advancement in technology.”

Sig-Net® was awarded the PLASA 2026 Award for Innovation with the judges commending the extensive collaborative effort behind Sig-Net, predicting it will become a cornerstone of cybersecurity in the lighting industry, and highlighting its sustainable impact which extends the lifespan of existing protocols and significantly reduces product obsolescence.

“Since its launch earlier this year, Sig-Net® has gone from strength to strength with around 30 companies adopting it into their products,” adds Howell. “The majority of manufacturers will be able to add Sig-Net® to their products in time to meet the December 2027 deadline.”
